New Feature

In my striving to bring you the newest and bestest from the podcasting world (short of actual content in my podcast) I have researched and will be implementing a little thing that I like to call listmenu. The website has no relevant "how to setup" information and the bulk of figuring it out came from trial and error (try 2 hours worth - sheesh). Below is a small descriptive how to for this "Expandable Listmenu" (hopefuly future people will be able to save their hard earned time thanks to this!).

How To: Expandable Listmenu
1) All list items (anything with the <li> tag at the beginning) needs to have an anchor tag immediately after the <li> tag
2) Any items that you want to be "expandable" needs to have this anchor tag after the list item tag: <a href="">
3) Any items that you want to be non-expandable needs to have this anchor tag after the list tiem tag: <a>
4) You will need to download (and host) the following files: open.gif and closed.gif
5) You only close the <li> tag for "expandable" items after other sub-items. Check out the source code for the example below for a good reference!
6) Triple check to make sure that you close tags in the order in which they were opened
7) If you have tried and failed, indent your source code tags in order (I find that this is the most common error, you opened a tag and forgot to close it)

03/29/05 Comments on Reality

this is an audio post - click to play

I have decided to never again transcript my audio posts. I have way too many verbal hic-ups to do that again. Until I get more sure of myself you will all have to live with it.
Later peeps,

03/24/05 Quick Audio Post

this is an audio post - click to play

For those of you that don't want to listen (or simply don't have the time), below is a transcript.

Transcript (45 sec 136 kb):
And another one bites the dust. Well you know I know that I was talking about... um... updating with a 60 second theater post, but I have been waiting for my female tallent to get better. She has been a little under the weather. And of course by tallent I mean my wife - she is the most tallented person I know. Anyway, back to what I was saying originally. And another one bites the dust. We have had another person quit at my work which means more work for us. Well I think that I would be more upset if she actually did work, you know we were actually pulling her weight anyway so I think that it has actually streamlined things a bit. Well that is all the time that I have for now. I'll talk at cha later, Mr. Me Out

Question:

Is it possible to get vaccuummers wrist? I have a sensitive right handed wrist (and thank you to all of you that are about to suggest that it may be from a little too much action from "Palmalla" or "Fistella", however I am left handed). The only thing that I can think of that I have been doing an abundance of is vaccuumming (at work of course, I have been known to put off housework for several months).

That is all for now,

Fu*k That

If the title didn't give it away, I am pissed off and this entire post will be one big rant (fair warning: this post contains EXTREME profanity).

Wednesday night (at work) I found out that I didn't get that job that I talked about being so worried about. Yeah instead it went to another fucking asshole that doesn't have better credentials or interviewed better, but rather has been there longer. Mother fucking son of a bitch. I spent all that time being all nervious about that god damn interview and then so bloddy happy that I nailed that shit. I am starting to think that it was all bullshit to begin with. They probably wanted to hire that ass-rag before they even ran the advertisement for the position - they just needed a reason to take him instead of other applicants. I figure that it was either that or he gave the men blowjobs.
Damn that makes me feel a hell of a lot better. I would like to appologize for this post and somewhat suspiciously deny that it ever happened. Just thought that someone out there would/could relate.

Laters,
~ Mr. Me ~

PS - Don't fault me for spelling inconsistancies my incoherent ramblings. Most of these posts come at ya after a full 8 hours of running my ass off and around 2 AM - AM people!

Jebus...

I really was planning on updating sooner than today, I promise. However life steped int he way and blocked my attemps to do so. I have been stressing out so much over the last few days becuase I had an interview yesterday. Yes, I said interview. I can hear you asking now: "why do you have an interview when you all ready have a job?" The answer is simple: it is a job in the same building doing something else (something more up my alley) and ... well ... it pays more. The interview went wonderfully - I answered all their questions and they seemed very happy with my answers. Always a tell tale sign of a good interview.

For future reference, don't try to type while intoxicated. I am having the roughest time trying to get my fingers to respond even remotely well. I have to keep correcting myself - I almost get two words typed and then I screw one of them up. What is the beverage of choice this evening? A 50/50 mix of Smirnoff Green Apple Twist (which by the way tastes like shit on the rocks) and Kalua Mudslide Mix (spectacular when blended just right). The green apple twist is extremely bitter and leaves you with a facial twitch or two, while the mudslide gives it a sweet flavor and smoothing texture. All and all it tastes quite a bit like a mudslide with a little bitter kick afterwards.

Which brings me to my next topic. I haven't ranted in too long. What is pissing me off this time? Yes, none other than my brother-in-law. He is always creating his own drama, begging for everybody to be involved in it (in his own standoff-ish way) and no sooner do you get involved than he changes his opinion and alienates us. Normally I wouldn't get so upset, but his is a unique brand of assholishness. He tends to make a big deal out of anything. For my wife's opinion, you can check out her blog - or just the post on this topic.

PS: New feature coming soon to a blog new you! I have taken it upon myself to make my own 60 Second Theater spots. I thought that ya'll might enjoy listening to them. I have made 2 new blogs 60 Second Theater, and Sixty Second Theater. I will be mirroring my audio spots on those two websites if anyone is interested.

No Offence

This is a quote from my brother-in-law's most recent significant other. So don't take any offence, it is just a funny quote.
