Horrendous Lies

I would like to clear up a little conspiracy that has been going around the Republocrat headquarters and take the shade off of my name. The incident that I am referring to is the blatant and irresponsible mentioning of my tenure at Little Caesars Pizza. I have only "thrown dough at management" when properly agitated by management. I have never and will never admit to throwing dough at Baren without being properly provoked.

As for the implication that I am a pirate, I would like to respond by saying that it takes one to know one. I do not deny my pirate background, however I would like to note a few minor differences.

• My "About Me" page does not feature a likeness of a skull and cross bones
• I pioneered the term "yarr" in the context of "yarr, thank ye for calling Little Caesars Pizza - land of the briny deep"
• Baren was once a symbol of authority (Navy, remember?) and pirates don't like authority of any sort

That being said, I also don't like authority but have made a special exception for my buddy Baren.
I'm Mr. Me, and I approve of my message(s).

Correction

I would like to retract my previous implication that Mr. Baren was dishonorably discharged, but retain my position on the Mushroom Scandal. Additionally, my opponent was blithe when mentioning that I must be the Independant. I don't like labels - not Liberal, not Conservative, not Sticky, and definitly not Independant. This race should be about who we are and what we stand for. I stand for peace, war, and the American way. Never mind that the previous statement is a double entendre and makes little or no sense. Remember I am pro-thinking and not regressive.

I respect Dr. Worm's voting capacity and have done a bit of looking into it. He has a very noble history of voting for tax increases on hippies. I know that this would normally pose no problem however in this race, one cannot afford to alienate themselves from the very roots of their being. I am appaled.

In reference to Baren's "ribbons" and "metals" I commend him. There is nothing quite like a few ribbons and metals to make one feel good about themselves. I would like to thank Baren for the lack of mud slinging, but I am confident that he will come up with something that speaks volumes about my character (which, for the record, is virtually [as in almost, but not quite] spotless).

Throwing My Hat In The Ring

Yep, I like my fellow bloggers have decided to offer you the choice to elect for president someone that is not simply 'the lesser of two evils' but someone that is genuinely right. Today I throw my proverbial hat into the proverbial ring and (not proverbially) announce my candidcy for president. When you visit the poles on November 2nd (yep it is soon), remember that a vote for anyone besides Mr. Me is unamerican and can be punished by law due to the (now) infamous Patriot Act.
I don't want to put down my fellow runners ... but I can't help but start the mud slinging. Baren was allegedly dishonorably discharged from the military and never received a purple heart. Dr. Worm was in on the whole Mushroom Scandal, I'll bet that he never even mentioned it. In fact, the Mushroom Scandal was masterminded by my opponent. He was the only one with the underground connections to make it all happen.
I have always tried to keep my nose clean and I have a great plan for America.

I'm Alive!

Contrary to popular belief, I am alive. I have just been busy trying to get my life together. I am still seeking employment and have successfully filed for umemployment (let the money come in baby!). With any luck I will get my first check soon - that should provide the necessary moneys to get on with the next step of the hunting process.
Well gotta go, I promised myself that I would upload some of my new stuff on my page at DeviantArt. I hope that I can get some stuff done :)

Gambling

YTD: $-8
Those of you that throughout that my gambling debt was something that was holding me down can now feel good for me since I just spent a couple of evenings out with my wife at the local gambling depots - and winning of course ;) The other day she won $70 and today we came out with an extra $20. I am trying to keep my share of the money separate so that I can keep an accurate account of how much money I have personally lost and am happy to report a great gain since last time :)

Today I spent a bunch of time filling out an application at a temp service (Westaff for those of you that want to know). The actual Westaff app was very short (~5 mins) however the app for the job that I wanted to apply for was very long. It only took me about an hour and 45 mins but it felt like forever. I also fixed my uncle-in-laws' (is there such a term?) computer. It had unholy amounts of spyware in it. So much in fact that it seemed like each layer of spyware I pealed off of it yielded another layer with even more! It took about 2 hours to clean off and me being the nice guy I am only charged him $30 (although I could have gotten away with $50 for sure). Yesterday I fixed a friend of my brother-in-laws' computer and he has yet to pay me even though it was only $20. Hopefully I won't have to get a collection agency involved ... hippie.

It seems that Baren won't be changing his mind about going to Japan, kinda makes me wish that there was something I could do to make him stay. Yet - if he will be happier in Japan, then I say let him go to Japan. Japan. Japan ... just had to say it a few more times to let it sink in.

I am still rendering my 1024 x 768 thingie in Bryce. I started it yesterday morning at 8 AM and it isn't done yet ... 85% and counting baby. By my calculations it should only take about another 6.5 hours to complete. Ergo it should be done by the time that I wake up in the morning. I can't wait to see how it turned out. I promise to make an effort to attempt to try to post it on my DeviantArt page.
